Positive: Lovely old style house that had everything we needed and nicely stocked kitchen (utensils etc). The coffee machine was an extra bonus. Everything seemed clean and tidy.

Negative: Quite cold in winter but warmed up ok once all the heating was going. We didn't use the lounge at all - it could do with some more couches/seating to make it more inviting and comfortable to fit everyone staying (we had a group of 7). It was easier to seat everyone in the dining room area even though it was smaller. This is nothing to do with the accommodation or hosts - but BE VERY CAREFUL WITH BOOKING.COM. After years of booking accommodation in NZD they sneakily changed my currency to USD without me noticing or notifying me, so the accommodation cost a lot more than I had realised at the time of booking. Trying to find a way to contact them and then go around in circles with their customer services was a nightmare and I got no answers as to why they did this, however I've read it is a common trick they use. FYI
